ELECTRA Returns - Circular Fashion
THE ELECTRA RETURNS PROGRAME
At Electra Universe, we believe fashion should not become waste.
Our circular returns programme was created to ensure that the natural materials used within our collections can continue their journey beyond wear — returning either to the earth or back into future design.
Customers may return eligible bamboo garments to Electra Universe at any time through our lifetime returns initiative. In exchange, returning customers receive:
• Complimentary lifetime returns
• 20% discount on a future purchase
• Participation in our circular sustainability programme
Returned garments are carefully separated by material.
Our bamboo-based garments are directed toward composting and natural material recovery wherever possible. Under the right composting and soil conditions, natural bamboo-derived fibres may biodegrade within a matter of months rather than remaining in landfill for decades.
Shell components and trims are recovered and reused as part of future Electra Universe designs and material development.
RETURNING BAMBOO TO THE EARTH
Fashion begins with nature — and we believe it should be able to return to nature too.
Unlike synthetic fibres that can remain in landfill for generations, plant-based fibres have the ability to break down organically over time under suitable environmental conditions. Bamboo is a rapidly renewable resource and, when composted responsibly, can reintegrate back into the earth naturally.
Electra Universe will also release a Home Composting Guide PDF for customers wishing to compost eligible garments themselves responsibly at home.
CIRCULARITY & REGENERATION
The Electra Returns Programme forms part of our wider commitment to circular luxury and regenerative design — creating garments with their full lifecycle in mind.
Through material recovery, composting initiatives, and continued sustainability development, Electra Universe aims to create a slower, more conscious relationship between fashion, nature, and waste.
Because what comes from nature should not become permanent waste.
